On our latest adventure, we left behind the peaceful island where we had spent the night in a simple hut built right over the sea. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and a golden sunrise was unforgettable. After a quiet morning exploring the island and enjoying its raw beauty, we packed up our tents and belongings, ready for the next leg of our journey.


Just as the tide changed, a small wooden boat arrived to take us across the calm waters. This wasn’t just a boat ride — it was our gateway to a secret fishing village that few ever get to see. Tucked away along the coast of Cambodia, this village felt like stepping back in time. There were no crowds, no tourists — only local fishermen, wooden stilt houses, and children laughing near the water’s edge.



The ride itself was breathtaking, passing mangroves, small islets, and vast blue skies. But the real treasure was the destination: a peaceful, traditional Cambodian fishing community that holds onto its culture and way of life. We were humbled and amazed by the warmth of the people, the rhythm of daily life, and the untouched charm of the place.
